We are a team of researchers at San Francisco State University and the Center for Research and Education on Gender and Sexuality (CREGS). Our study looks at how neighborhoods can impact people living with HIV. Working together with the HIV+ community, we are making maps of where people go for care and how the places they live impact their health and their lives.
Want to get involved with us? You are eligible if:
- You are at least 18 (all genders are welcome!)
- You are HIV+
- You have lived in the same neighborhood in San Francisco
for 1 year or more.
- Housed and homeless people are both welcome to participate.
We meet in downtown San Francisco. Each participant comes to one confidential mapping group that will be 1-2 hours long. Snacks are provided and participants will be compensated $40 for time and travel.
